    Knowing the components of the RFID system, its working principle is very simple: first, the reader emits a specific electromagnetic wave through its antenna. When the electronic tag enters the working range of the transmitting antenna, it will generate induction. The current becomes active, and the internally stored information is sent out through the antenna; the antenna of the reader/writer receives the signal from the electronic tag, and then demodulates and decodes the signal, and then uploads it to the background host system for processing.

 

    So what are the advantages of RFID? It has the characteristics of long service life, good safety, etc. It has fast scanning and convenient and quick use. RFID is not limited by chip size and shape in information reading. It can be applied to many different products. It has strong anti-pollution ability and is highly resistant to water and some chemicals. Compared with some barcodes that cannot be changed after printing, RFID tags can modify and delete their internal data multiple times to facilitate information updating. RFID can also be read remotely, which can greatly improve the information management efficiency of enterprises.

 

    Because of the advantages of RFID technology, its application scenarios are quite broad. RFID technology information is quickly read. It can be used for information identification of electronic documents such as ID cards and student ID cards. It can greatly improve logistics efficiency in the field of logistics and warehousing. It can track data in goods in logistics and automatically collect information data. RFID It also has the characteristics of being difficult to forge, and can be used for anti-counterfeiting of valuables and tickets; it can also be used in the security control system to timely monitor and abnormally alarm the archives to avoid file destruction and theft.

 

    Of course, RFID also has some shortcomings. Compared with low-cost barcodes, each RFID tag is relatively expensive; for some items pre-loaded with electronic tags, it may be unknowingly scanned for privacy issues; no unified standard system has caused some The difficulty of promotion. Therefore, the future development direction of RFID should establish a unified technical standard, develop technologies that properly protect privacy and security, and reduce costs, so as to further promote the application and development of RFID technology.
